Mission Statement

As the heart of the academic experience at Norco College, the Wilfred J. Airey Library provides informational leadership, instruction, access to technology, and learning resources supporting: the mission of the college; the development of lifelong information competency skills; and the overall success of the learning community.

Celia Brockenbrough
Professor, Library Services

Celia Brockenbrough serves Norco College in the role of Senior Academic Librarian. Some of her responsibilities include: Guiding students and faculty in the usage of library resources and services at the reference desk; instructing library skills workshops; developing library collections; and library representation on college strategic planning councils and committees.

Vivian Harris
Associate Professor, Library Services

Vivian Harris serves Norco College in the role of Public Services Librarian. Some of her responsibilities include: Guiding students and faculty in the usage of library resources and services at the reference desk; instructing library skills workshops; developing library collections; teaching library courses; and serving as the Co-Chair of the Library Advisory Committee.

Jennifer Valencia
Grants Administrative Specialist 

Jennifer Valencia  provides administrative assistant support for the library, and Title V Grant support for the Learning Resource Center. Her duties include: accounting and budget assistance, event planning and logistics, processing agreements and contracts, travel arrangements and requests, and purchasing assistance.

Miguel is responsible for the daily operation of the circulation department and library including the assigning of workloads for the staff but not limited to such processes as check-in and check-out, over dues, reserves, shelving and stack maintenance and periodicals.
